Woodhead has designed the fitout for the Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) workplace in the newly completed offices located at Collins Street in the Melbourne CBD.
VEC personnel are primarily made up of two distinct working groups; Special Project Groups – who coordinate voting and specific election based activities, and the Electoral Executive and Commission.
The specially designed workplace allows for these two distinct working groups to be housed together, yet securely and separately, for the diverse roles performed at the VEC.
This new workplace has resolved previously encountered problems with space and privacy. Formerly the VEC have found their office space has lacked both collaborative and discreet working spaces, Woodhead have resolved this issue with the new office fitout.
Combined with a revived brand and corporate image, the reception area and foyer welcomes members of the public in a light filled space that invites and encourages interaction.
The new café and breakout spaces provide spacious, contemporary light filled locations to refresh and revitalise staff.
