The new Pandanas Office Suites commercial development responds to the demand for quality office space in Darwin’s CBD. The $12million commercial, office and retail development is located on the corner of Knuckey and Wood Streets.
Comprising approximately 4000sqm of office accommodation over six levels, together with a ground floor retail precinct, the building leads the way in environmentally sustainable initiatives with a 4.5 Star ABGR energy rating.
Measures such as double-glazing and tinted windows and recycling of water for use on rooftop gardens has been included. The use of pre-tensioned floor slabs and precast wall panels ensured less use of concrete and steel.
The design creates a pleasant indoor atmosphere and offers tenants internal access to ground floor retail areas through a wide internal walkway linked to the new Pandanas Apartments. The building was fully tenanted upon completion.
