This $107 million project required Woodhead to develop an integrated, state-of-the-art complex incorporating 4 levels, reel store, tipping and laydown, administration, press hall, mailroom and despatch dock, and a dynamic new working environment for 200 employees.
The result is a complex that surpasses international standards for the industry.
The approach is highly innovative, yet the architectural language is clear and simple, expressing different stages of the printing process by changes in the external buildings both in plane and façade material.
Functional efficiency has been maximised and staff morale enhanced throughout the harmonious new working environment which features extensive use of glazing.
