Woodhead demonstrated its full integrated design capabilities for this project in creating the masterplan and landscape design for the Golf Club, the interior design of the 2400 sq. m club house and 22 villas, and the design of five further villa types.
Set in a stunning location at the edge of a natural ridge, the design appropriately considers the combination of local topography and climate characteristics and reflects the central theme of ‘tropical vacation club’. The design is inspired by a modern interpretation of a tropical Thai style resort.
The club house flows down into the valley and reveals a spacious interior showcasing a dramatic timber structure which frames the magnificent views out on to the course.
Picking up on the natural palette surrounding the site, the club house and villas successfully integrate with its environment and spectacular scenery, blurring the line between inside and out. Natural ventilation is adopted throughout all public spaces, capturing the tropical breeze as it passes through the mountains.
