The design concept for the Elysees residential apartments addresses the site in its totality. The building form acknowledges the two street frontages, the relationship to existing apartment buildings and the nearby XXXX brewery. Woven into the design is the notion of views radiating from inside to out.
Functional performance allowed for the development of eight distinct unit and townhouse types for a total of 34 overall. The apartment planning includes rear courtyards to effect cross ventilation within all units, and the penthouse apartments feature their own rooftop entertainment terraces.
The building enhances the urbanity of the precinct with the architecturally articulated tower and townhouses appropriately placed against the two street frontages. All courtyards, entries, pergolas, landscaping and public spaces are planned towards friendly and sensitive placement within the urban fabric. The design approach integrates the structure with the architectural articulation, including sun shading, view frames and double volume spaces.
Elysees on Milton offers panoramic views which have been maximised at every vantage point whilst ensuring privacy and internal comfort levels maintain high priority.
