Crowne Plaza Canberra is located in a key business and short-break leisure destination catering primarily to domestic travellers (89% of hotel’s business) and is the largest hotel in the region.  The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the nation’s capital, within short walking distance of the CBD.

The brief for the redesign of the room was to strengthen the hotel’s position as an ‘upscale’ hotel, creating a view of superior quality and offering in a contemporary accommodation experience.  The design integrated with the recently refurbished public areas and provided a sense of continuity. 

The guestroom concept encompassed typical king, double bedrooms, and suites, and included replacing the built-in and loose furniture, carpets, window treatment, artwork and lighting. 

A multi-purpose work and dining space within the rooms feature the latest technology to suit the requirements of today’s business and leisure travellers.  The seating area takes into consideration not only comfort and ergonomic design but allows a space to both meet and relax, according to the needs of the traveller.

The final result is deluxe accommodation of contemporary design, reflecting the superior quality of the Crowne Plaza brand and offers the traveller a positive and memorable experience. 

Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach

Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach is se against the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean at Coogee, NSW. The hotel expresses an urban and cosmopolitan, yet relaxed culture. Surrounded by one of the East Coast’s most breathtaking beaches and headlands, it embraces a relaxed, casual setting and is only a short drive to the city.

The traditional market for the hotel is corporate meetings during the week and leisure guests on weekends and school holidays. 

The soft refurbishment of 207 guestrooms and suites reflect the tranquil environment of Coogee Beach, known affectionately as ‘Sydney’s Seaside Village’.  Design concept for King and Queen type rooms includes custom designed furniture, light fittings, soft furnishings, artworks, window treatment and carpet flooring.

The living zone allows guests a full appreciation of the views from the room and meets requirements for dining and entertainment.  Rather than be a feature of the room, the workstation creates a functional, multipurpose zone for both the corporate traveller and the family leisure traveller.
