Woodhead was commissioned to design the new 5,000m2 corporate head Office for Colonial First State Property Management at Chadstone, Victoria.
The purpose-built corporate office is uniquely located on the top level of an existing department store. The offices enjoy surrounding views of regional Melbourne and the city skyline.
The design team worked closely with the leasing and development team to deliver the new flexible and sustainable environment.
Strategic planning, allowing natural light and perimeter circulation achieved core design objectives. The unique central courtyard is designed to allow direct access to the communal café area, with another two café areas provided to meet staff needs.
The open plan work space was designed to accommodate all levels of management generating an open, flexible working environment.
