PARRAMATTA DEVELOPMENT CONTROL PLAN - Website
The Parramatta City Councils Development Control Plan (DCP) is a comprehensive and detailed document that expresses the Councils vision over all development that takes place within its boundaries. The aim of the DCP is to ensure that any development activity contributes positively to the natural and built environment, resects the needs of all members of the community and ensures that developments are economically, socially and environmentally sustainable.
STAIRLOCK - Website
StairLock required a user-friendly brochure style website aimed specifically at the building industry that allowed registered users to select and order products on-line. The general public is able to view various combinations of balustrade and staircase on offer and request further details or download assembly instructions. http://www.stairlock.com.au
KARIJINI NATIONAL PARK VISITOR CENTRE - Flash Postcard
This project was selected as a winner for the 2001 RAIA National Awards, shortlisted for the World Architecture Awards in Berlin as well as the prestigious Sir Zelman Cowan Award in Australia. Following this it was decided to create an electronic post card that was small enough and could be emailed to a client database of over 900 people. It became a powerful marketing tool that received an overwhelming response and generated extensive feedback.
NORTHERN TERRITORY AIRPORTS - Introduction Movie
Darwin International Airport required an introductory video and speaker support material to accompany a presentation aimed at increasing international airline activity throughout the Northern Territory region. An organic design influenced by the Airports identity and combination of still and video imagery was used to capture the activity and vibrancy of the top end.
RAIA AWARDS NIGHT - Audoi/Visual Introduction Movie
For the 2001 Royal Australian Institute of Architects awards night, an audio/visual movie was developed for inclusion in the evening that broke away from the traditional presentation style. Exploring the theme of the environment and environmental sensitivity, the entire evening was infused with thought provoking ideas and concepts about sustainable development alongside the recognition of design excellence in architecture.
ANSHEN AND ALLEN ARCHITECTS - Website
One of the United States leading health architecture firms required an upgrade to their existing website. The overall theme reflects the nature of their core business, being health and the human touch. Additionally, the site design offers a platform for profiling staff and their design philosophies as well as profiles of the firm's work. The site is managed in-house by the company so that they may make continual updates and keep information current.
