Colonial First State Property Management is one of Australia's largest retail developers, with Shopping Centres located throughout Australia. Their Chadstone Shopping Centre is one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.

Woodhead was commissioned to design the new 5,000 sqm corporate head Office at Chadstone, Victoria. The purpose built corporate office is uniquely located on the top level an existing department store.

The surrounding regional views of the Melbourne are back dropped with Melbourne city sky line. The design team work closely with the leasing and development team to deliver their new flexible and sustainable environment.

These core design objectives were achieved by strategic planning allowing natural light and perimeter circulation. The unique central courtyard has been designed for direct access to the communal cafe area, with another two cafe areas provided to meet the staff needs.

The Open plan work space was designed to accommodate all levels of management generating an open flexible working environment.
