This 4.5ha site was a fully developed aged care complex that had fallen below current standards and was unable to meet 2008 Commonwealth certification standards. A large number of high care bed licences were not being utilised. The site was to be redeveloped with a mix of independent, low and high care accommodation to be that would be determined by a masterplanning and feasibility exercise.

The client brief was to establish a new and higher standard of accommodation in the Perth marketplace. A masterplan was prepared indicating a development of 44 independent living villas, 85 apartments, 142 high care beds and a community centre. Documentation and construction of the works is to proceed in three stages.

Stage 1 of the development works comprises 37 villas, 28 apartments, the community centre and associated site and landscaping works. This stage is currently underway.
