Gosnells Civic Complex

Gosnells, Western Australia

The Town Centre Revitalisation Scheme was launched in 1999 and the City of Gosnells has been internationally recognised for its innovative and progressive approach to town centre revival since the projects inception.

The new complex will be a two storey, multi-purpose building which will house the Gosnells Centre for Business Development, a new Gosnells Library, Civic Facilities, a Heritage Centre and a Lotteries House.

The building forms a quadrangle with an internal courtyard shared by all four user groups. The innovative design provides commercial exposure, views and passive surveillance of Pioneer Park.

The public interaction with the civic square and the discreet entrance to Lotteries House Counselling Facility assists in the ease and use of the complex.

The design success clearly displays the understanding of community expectations, integrated whilst functional department planning and the incorporation of practical, innovative sustainability initiatives.
