The reconfiguration and expansion of the current East Hall Retail precinct at Hong Kongs Chek Lap Kok Airport increases the space symmetrically at the two diagonal glass facades by 6,500sqm. This allows for a further 8,500sqm of lettable area through the use of double level cabins and an increased passenger capacity and flow.

Passenger facilitation, wayfinding and an improved journey experience has been integrated into the upgraded commercial environment.

The expansion and retail works are coordinated with the airport's dynamic structure, invigorating the unique space. This project focused upon the airports need to ensure that the retail space is conducive to generating revenue.

The completed design represents the vibrancy and energy that is Hong Kong - Asia's world city.
