John has over 20 years experience in the health architectural industry across a wide range of healthcare facilities and has recently moved from the UK to join Woodhead in Australia. His experience includes research and development, briefing, strategic design / clinical organisation and the design and construction of healthcare buildings varying from general medical practice premises to major new acute and university/teaching hospitals.
John’s strong belief in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams, working to produce an environment of both spatial and functional quality stems from his early years at Bath University studying under Ted Happold (Buro Happold).
John has specific expertise in the briefing and design development of major healthcare projects and in the mentoring of others in the design development and procurement of healthcare projects.
