Woodhead is delighted to announce that Tony Quinn has joined the practice as Principal. He will work out of the Sydney studio commencing 13 September 2010.
Tony has extensive experience within the retail and mixed use sectors, extending across master planning and design. Tony’s recent position as Head of Retail at Rice Daubney saw him direct award winning projects such as the Orion Springfield Queensland (mixed use) and Sovereign Hills Town Centre (mixed use). Previous to this Tony was a Director of Buchan Group Sydney undertaking work on projects such as No. 1 Martin Place (Sydney GPO), Grace Bros Broadway and Sydney Central Plaza redevelopments.
Tony studied architecture at the University of New South Wales, and became a registered architect in 1983. Tony is a member of the Australian Institute of Architects, Large Practice Committee (AIA) and International Council of Shopping Centres as well as having an active involvement in the Property Industry Foundation, as a board member and chair of the Regatta committee.
Tony is an exciting addition to Woodhead and reinforces our commitment to the Retail Portfolio, which already boasts an impressive of projects nationally and internationally. Tony will work with Phil Bowen and build on the great work currently being undertaken by the Retail Team. This is all part of the renewed focus by Woodhead to sharpening our Portfolio focus.
